Full Bio

Mr. Oliver was previously one of the theatre teachers at BDJH where he taught for 5 years, and before BDJH Mr. Oliver taught theatre in Oklahoma for 2 years. Mr. Oliver is a college graduate from the University of Central Oklahoma where he received his Bachelor's in Fine Arts and Education in Theatre and Communication Education and has obtained his Master's in Curriculum and Instruction with an Emphasis of Theatre Pedagogy from Southeastern Oklahoma State University. He was awarded the All-Star Beginner Teacher of the Year two years in a row in Putnam City School District in Oklahoma where he was previously the Director of Theatre Arts. Mr. Oliver enjoys reading new plays and spending time with his wife and dogs Sasha and Rigatoni. He is ready to begin his first year at Seven Lakes High School and make a lasting impact on the Studio VII Theatre Co. legacy.
